Video Poker is a favored game that is able to be bet on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your personal computer, using a net account. The game rules are very straightforward and involve the player attempting to get the greatest mixture of cards as you can in order to acquire cash. In this respect it’s much the same as a classic game of poker, minus the interaction with any other players. Of course, tactics used in a physical game of poker, such as tricking, will be useless in Video Poker.

The game of Electronic Poker starts when the bettor inserts credits (whether it is tokens, credit slips or money) into the machine and pushes the deal button. A five card hand will then be electronically ‘dealt’ on the screen.

The Electronic Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ written on them, and enthusiasts should now choose which cards to keep and which to throw away. For the cards the player wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can decide to keep any number of cards they wish, whether it’s all or none.

After the gambler has chosen which cards he or she wishes to retain, they should press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards are needed they will be given out. The hand is now completed, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.

Normally, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the payment schedule can vary from game to game, so that discerning gamblers are agile enough to choose the most money-making game each and every instance.

After the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Additionally, a few styles of the game give the player a chance to double their wins, in which case a further game is played. There are also differences between individual games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying characteristics to enhance playability.
