Electronic Poker is a beloved game that can be played in casinos all over the world, or alternatively at your house on your PC, using a net connection. The game rules are very simple and consist of the player attempting to achieve the highest mixture of cards as you can in order to win cash. In this respect it is very similar as a normal game of poker, apart from the line of contact with other players. Of course, techniques used in a real-life game of poker, like bluffing, will be useless here.

The game of Electronic Poker begins when the gambler inserts credits (whether it’s tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and presses the play button. A five card hand will be electronically ‘distributed’ on the video screen.

The Video Poker game also has hold buttons, and players will need to now decide which cards to keep and which to throw away. For the cards the enthusiast wishes to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can decide to keep any amount of cards they want, whether it is all or none.

After the player has selected which cards he or she wishes to keep, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards will be handed out if desired. The game is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the payout schedule.

Generally, the minimum succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the pay out schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that skillful bettors are agile enough to select the most profitable game each and every time.

As soon as the first round has played out, the player can either decide to continue on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Further, a few versions of the game allow the gambler a chance to increase their wins, in which situation a further game is played. There are also differences between individual games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
