Electronic Poker is a favored game that is able to be bet on in casinos across the globe, or alternatively at your house on your PC, through a net account. The game rules are absolutely simple and consist of the player trying to achieve the highest assemblage of cards as you can in order to come away with money. On this account it’s very similar as a normal game of poker, apart from the involvement with any other players. Of course, methods used in a physical game of poker, such as tricking, will be useless here.
The game of Electronic Poker starts when the bettor inserts credits (whether it’s tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and pushes the play button. A hand of 5 cards will then be "handed out" on the video screen.
The Electronic Poker machine also has hold buttons, and gamblers will need to now decide which cards to hold and which to throw away. For the cards the player wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they light up. The player can decide to keep any number of cards they wish, whether it’s all or none.
After the gambler has chosen which cards he would like to keep, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards are needed they will be handed out. The round is now completed, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands shown on the pay out schedule.
Generally, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money getting larger for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can range from machine to machine, so that skillful gamblers are agile enough to select the most profitable machine each instance.
Once the first round has played out, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Further, a few styles of the game allow the gambler an opportunity to double their profits, in which case a further hand is played. There are also differences between specific machines, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other varying aspects to enhance playability.
